IDEAL FLOORING FOR SAND BEDDED BARNS

►Pour Concrete as dry as possible (The drier the concrete is the stronger it is).
►Screed out the concrete flat (but sloped in the direction of manure flow)
►Darby out the screed marks
►DO NOT BROOM FINISH OR TEXTURE
►Treat with a concrete sealant if concrete is less than 90 days of age (ph of concrete is 12 – lye is 13 which can burn you pretty good!)
►Diamond Pattern groove concrete. This provides positive traction for the hoof in all directions & edges stay sharp & square because there are no grooves perpendicular to the direction of scraping.
Our customer surveys show less than 3% culling due to feet and legs (vs. over 25% in sand bedded with broom or texture finish)
